Thunder in the Square is a car, truck, motorcycle, and tractor show with live music provided by The Cruisers, food vendors, and activities for kids.

The location of the expo will be the City Center with an event extension onto South Potomac Street, plus vehicle parking for the car shows on West Washington, East Washington, and North Potomac Streets.

The Cruisers have been one of the tri-state areas premier variety bands for over 33 years. Including 5 or 6 performances at “Wind Down” for he Maryland Theatre! They have been entertaining crowds of all ages in the region and are “still cruising after all these years”. Made up of 5 local musicians, with over 200 years combined experience, they play the oldies like nobody’s business. With Danny Dawson on lead guitar, Bill French on rhythm guitar, Tony Calandrelle on bass, Joey Leggett on drums, and Mike Lushbaugh on sax, there’s bound to be a lot of dancing in the streets or sure!
